The Team

Our Production Department is the biggest team across all sites. They are the epicentre of our operations.

They ensure products are made on time, put into the correct fast lane for production processing and packing products to our customers’ specification.

The Role

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic individual with previous experience of supervising in a manufacturing environment.

This role will be responsible for effectively managing and motivating a team of people to meet production targets ensuring that the final product meets client specifications in line with company health, safety and quality regulations.

You will ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures. The role will supervise a team to maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basis.

You will assist in the training and development of new starters and provide on-going training in line with food safety, HSE and company standards for existing employees.

As we work with fresh produce, the factory is a chilled environment so previous experience of this would be ideal as well as an understanding of food safety legislation

The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills which will include both written and verbal.

Hours of work

The role is working on a 3 on/3 off shift pattern; 12 hour shifts starting at 7am to 8am

Pay details

£11.20 starting rate rising to £11.70 per hour when fully trained
